About This Call
Faces & Figures is an online juried exhibition open to artists working in all media, ages 18 and older. The exhibition runs January 31 - February 28, 2024.
Site:Brooklyn is seeking work that engages, expands, and elaborates the role of the face and figure in art. The exhibition is juried by Charlotte Jansen, a British Sri Lankan critic and journalist based in London who has written on contemporary art for fifteen years for publications including The New York Times, The Guardian, The Financial Times, British Vogue, Frieze, and The Art Newspaper. She is the author of Girl on Girl (LKP, 2017) and Photography Now (Tate/ilex, 2021).
Submission Requirements: Only original works may be submitted. Artists must submit 3-9 images and up to 3 videos. Entry fee is $26.00 for three images, with a $10.00 media fee for each additional image. All entries must be received by December 28, 2023 at 11:59 PM MT. Entry fees are non-refundable. Accepted artists will be notified January 5, 2024, and must upload high-resolution photo files of their work. All artwork must be priced for sale and available for sale during the exhibition.
