F-Stop! | Group Exhibition

Midnight Gallery invites local artists practicing within 100 miles of Bentonville, Arkansas to submit work for a group exhibition rooted in the language of photography. The exhibition takes its cue from the f-stop: the adjustable aperture that controls how much light enters the lens. This show champions our power to choose; what we let in, what we hold back, and how we frame the world around us. The selected works will probe thresholds of perception, inherited frameworks, and acts of focus amid rapid change.

The exhibition runs January through March 2026. Drop-off dates are January 3-4, 2026 at 407 SW A St, Bentonville, AR 72712. Application deadline is November 2, 2025. Entry fee is $10. Artists must be 18 or older and able to drop off and pick up work at the gallery location. Artwork must be PG-13 rated due to the gallery's public-facing windows. The gallery has a 434 sq ft space with 9' ceiling height and can suspend artwork up to 10 lbs. Midnight Gallery will retain a 20% commission on all sales made during the exhibition.

Applications must include an artist statement (200-500 words) and up to five artworks with accurate descriptions including title, year, medium, dimensions (H x W in inches), and price (or NFS if not for sale). Proposals will be reviewed by the gallery committee based on artistic quality, originality, and alignment with the gallery's mission. Selected artists will be contacted directly.
