Eye of the Camera - Space to Wonder

The City of Littleton Fine Arts Board presents the 56th Annual Eye of the Camera Thematic Photography Competition and Exhibition, awarding $2,400 in cash prizes. The 2022 theme is "Space to Wonder," exploring wonder as a shared human emotion and what it means to have space to wonder—whether literal, physical, mental, or permission to admit ignorance and awe.

This competition is open to Colorado residents only. Entries must be photographs produced in the last 3 years and not previously shown in a Denver area juried photo show within the last two years. Entrants may submit up to 3 photographs. The entry fee is $30 (non-refundable). Framed photographs must not exceed 60 inches in length on any side. All accepted entries must be available for sale, and the Fine Arts Board will charge a 25% commission on sales. Submissions must include a statement on how the work relates to the theme and a description of the processing technique used.

Deadline for submission through CaFÉ is Thursday, December 16, 2021 at midnight mountain time. Notifications will be sent by USPS mail on or around December 23, 2021. Accepted artwork must be delivered in person on Monday, January 10, 2022 between 3pm and 7pm to the Littleton Museum (6028 S. Gallup Street, Littleton, CO 80120); artwork may not be shipped. The exhibition runs Friday, January 21 through Saturday, March 12, 2022 in the Littleton Museum's Fine Arts Gallery. Artwork must be picked up by Monday, March 14, 2022 between 9am and 3pm.
