Eye of the Camera 2015

The City of Littleton Fine Arts Board presents the 49th Annual Eye of the Camera Photography Exhibition. This competition is open to Colorado residents only and awards $2,400 in cash prizes.

Three categories are available for entry: Color digital photographs, Black and White digital photographs, and Film/darkroom processed and printed photographs (with no digital aspect including scanning or digital printing). Entrants may submit up to three photographs total across categories. All work must have been produced in the last 3 years and not shown in a Denver area juried photo show in the last two years. The entry fee is $30 (non-refundable). This year's juror is John Sunderland.

Awards include: Best of Show in each category ($500 each), First Place in Color and Black and White ($300 each), and Second Place in Color and Black and White ($150 each). Best of Show winners receive a joint exhibition in 2016. Accepted photographs will be displayed at the Littleton Museum's Fine Arts Gallery from February 20 - March 29, 2015. If accepted, artwork must be delivered in person on Monday, February 9, 2015 between 3pm and 7pm. An opening reception will be held on February 19, 2015 from 5:30pm - 7pm. Artwork pickup is Monday, March 30, 2015 from 3pm to 7pm; artwork not picked up at this time will be forfeited. All entries must be properly framed with strong wire and identified with photographer's name, title, price, and contact information. The Fine Arts Committee will charge a 25% commission on the sale price of any artwork sold during the exhibit. All entries must be available for sale.
