Ex|Site:365 - Pinedale

Ex|Site:365 is a temporary rotating sculpture project managed by the Visual Arts Committee of the Pinedale Fine Arts Council. The program places temporary and permanent works of art throughout the community of Pinedale, Wyoming in both interior and exterior public spaces, aiming to enhance the community through dialog, education, and visibility of contemporary visual art.

Ex|Site:365 consists of contracting artists for existing outdoor-friendly sculpture for one year. Up to two sculptures will be selected for the exhibition year. Preference will be given to regional artists in consideration of transportation costs. Selected artists will receive a $1,000 honorarium to help with transportation costs. Installation occurs in May of each year, and includes a public reception and complimentary hotel room for one night for the chosen artist(s). Although not required, the committee prefers that work is available for sale.

This project is open to professional artists. Entry fee is $25.00. Applicants must submit up to 6 images. The selection process is by invitation through portfolio review. Pinedale is located in west central Wyoming at an elevation of 7,175 ft, serving as the trailhead for the Bridger/Teton National Forest and Wilderness area.
