EXPRESSIONS, A National Fine Arts Exhibition

EXPRESSIONS is a national juried fine arts exhibition presented by the Marin Society of Artists (MSA), a non-profit artist organization since 1927 dedicated to promoting the arts and providing a broad array of arts opportunities. The exhibition is open to all artists residing in the United States, age 18 and over. All styles, mediums, and subject matter are invited except video, film, and installation art. The juror is Paul Kratter, an accomplished illustrator and painter with over thirty years of experience in design, wildlife art, and book illustrations.

Entry fees are $35 for 3 entries ($30 for MSA members), with additional entries at $7 each, up to a maximum of 10 total images. Images must be JPG or JPEG format, under 5 MB, with a minimum of 1200 pixels on the longest side. Accepted artwork confirmations will be announced May 10, 2019. Artwork delivery deadlines are June 7th for shipped work (before 4pm) and June 9-10 for hand-delivered pieces. The exhibition opens June 13 and closes July 6, 2019, with a reception on Friday, June 14th from 5-8pm. Prizes include First Prize $500, Second Prize $200, Third Prize $100, and three non-monetary Honorable Mention awards. MSA retains a 40% commission on sales (30% for members). The Marin Society of Artists Art Centre is located at 1515 Third Street, San Rafael, CA. Artwork must not exceed 60" high and 60" wide including frame, with a maximum weight of 25lbs (50lbs for 3-D art on pedestals). All artwork must be identified on the back with the artist's name, address, phone or email, and artwork title.
