EXPRESSIONS 2023

EXPRESSIONS 2023 is an online exhibition open to all artists age 18 and over. Artists are invited to interpret their ideas, thoughts, emotions, and creative vision through their art. The exhibition is open to painting, photography, sculpture, printmaking, mixed media, fiber art, ceramics, and all types of fine art crafts. The show will be presented as an online presentation in the MSA Virtual Gallery, which will include the price and contact information of the artist. A video version showing all works in the show will also be available and will remain available to view after the show closes.

Entry fees are $35 for 3 entries ($30 for MSA members), with $7 for each additional entry up to 10 pieces total. Entries must be submitted digitally via the CaFE application by May 17, 2023 before 11:59pm Mountain Time. Accepted artists will be notified by email on May 26, 2023. The exhibition runs from June 1 through July 31, 2023, with a virtual ZOOM reception on June 11 at 5pm PST. The YouTube version will remain available after the show closes.

Juror Nancy Roberts is an acrylic painter and experienced arts professional in the San Francisco Bay Area. Awards include First Prize $500, Second Prize $300, Third Prize $100, and several non-monetary Honorable Mention awards at the juror's discretion. No more than 2 works by any one artist will be included in the final selection. Artwork previously shown in an MSA juried exhibition will not be accepted. Artists retain 100% of sales with no commission to MSA. Digital image submissions must be JPG or JPEG format, 1200 pixels or greater on the longest side, and under 5 MB.
