EXPRESSIONS 2022

EXPRESSIONS 2022 is an online exhibition open to all artists age 18 and over. Artists are invited to interpret their ideas, thoughts, emotions, and creative vision through their art. The exhibition is open to painting, photography, sculpture, printmaking, mixed media, fiber art, ceramics, and all types of fine art crafts. The show will be presented as an online presentation in the MSA Virtual Gallery, which will include the price and contact information of the artist. A video version showing all works in the show will also be available and will remain available to view after the show closes.

Digital entries with uploaded images must be received via the CaFE application by April 27, 2022 before 11:59pm Mountain Time. Notification of acceptance will be by email and an online list of accepted artwork entries on the MSA website. Exhibition dates are May 15, 2022 through July 14, 2022. The YouTube version of the exhibition will remain available after July 14. A virtual ZOOM reception will be held on Sunday, May 22 at 5pm PST.

Entry fees are $35 for 3 entries ($30 for MSA members), with $7 for each additional entry up to 10 pieces total. Artwork previously shown in an MSA juried entry exhibition will not be accepted. No more than 2 works by any one artist will be included in the final juried selection. Awards include First Prize: $500, Second Prize: $300, Third Prize: $100, and several non-monetary Honorable Mention awards at the Juror's discretion. The juror is Donna Seager of Seager/Gray Gallery in Mill Valley, CA. Digital images must be JPG or JPEG format, 1200 pixels or greater on the longest side, and under 5 MB. Artists retain 100% of sales with no commission to MSA.
