Expressions 2021

Expressions 2021 is a national juried fine arts online exhibition presented by the Marin Society of Artists (MSA), a non-profit artist organization since 1927. The exhibition runs July 10 – August 27, 2021, presented in two forms: an online presentation in the MSA Virtual Gallery and a video version showing all works in the show.

The exhibition is open to all artists age 18 and over. Artists may submit up to 10 original works not previously shown in an MSA juried exhibition. Accepted media include painting, photography, sculpture, printmaking, mixed media, art of the book, fiber art, fine art crafts, and ceramics. Video, film, and installations are not accepted. Digital entries must be submitted via the CaFE application by Monday, June 21, 2021 before 11:59pm Mountain Time. Notification of acceptance will be by email and an online list posted on the MSA website by July 2, 2021.

Entry fees are $35 for non-members (3 entries) or $30 for MSA members (3 entries), with $7 for each additional entry up to 10 pieces. No more than 2 works by any one artist will be included in the final selection. Awards include First Prize ($500), Second Prize ($300), Third Prize ($100), and non-monetary Honorable Mention awards at the juror's discretion. The juror is Randall Sexton, a nationally known contemporary oil painter and educator. Artists retain 100% of sales with no commission to MSA.
