About This Call
Exposure is the Photographic Resource Center's annual juried exhibition for PRC members, showcasing work by photographers at all career levels since 1996. The 2023 juror is Shana Lopes, Assistant Curator of Photography at the San Francisco Museum of Modern Art. The juror will select between 10 to 15 artists for exhibition, with 2 to 4 pieces per artist selected for display.
Photographers working in a broad range of exhibition-ready bodies of work are encouraged to apply, including traditional and non-traditional approaches to photography. Applicants must submit 3-6 images from a cohesive body of work, along with a checklist, artist statement, and resume. The non-refundable entry fee is $35. Applicants must be current PRC members through October 2023. Selected artists will be notified between June 5-9, 2023. The exhibition runs August 5 – September 17, 2023, with a gallery reception on August 11 from 5-8pm. Selected artists are responsible for all shipping costs and transit insurance to and from the gallery. The PRC requests a 30% commission from any work sold during the exhibition.
