EXPOSURE 2022

EXPOSURE is the Photographic Resource Center's annual juried members exhibition. Since 1996, the show has exhibited work by more than 400 photographers at various career stages. Each year, a respected member of the photographic community—including curators, gallerists, and publishers—is invited to serve as juror and select between 10 to 15 artists for exhibition. The juror then selects between 2 and 4 pieces per artist, offering photographers an opportunity to showcase their work at a deeper level than most juried shows. The EXPOSURE 2022 juror is Catherine Edelman, Owner of Catherine Edelman Gallery.

Photographers working in a broad range of exhibition-ready bodies of work are encouraged to apply, including traditional and non-traditional approaches to photography. Applicants must be current members of the Photographic Resource Center through September 2022. For a non-refundable entry fee of $30, photographers may submit 3-6 images from a cohesive, exhibition-ready body of work, along with a checklist, artist statement, and resume. Entries are accepted from April 1st through May 15th, 2022.

Selected artists will be notified by June 5th via email. The exhibition runs August 4 - September 15, 2022, with a reception on Saturday, August 6, 3-5pm. Shipped deliveries must be received July 29 - August 1; hand deliveries are accepted July 30 & 31, 11am - 2pm. Artists are responsible for all shipping costs and transit insurance. The PRC requests a 30% commission from any work sold during the exhibition. Work pickup is September 16 & 17, 10am - 2pm.
