EXPOSURE 2020: The 24th Annual PRC Juried Exhibition

EXPOSURE 2020 is the 24th Annual PRC Juried Exhibition. The Photographic Resource Center invites entries for a juried photography exhibition seeking a broad range of exhibition-ready bodies of work, including both traditional and non-traditional approaches to photography. Since its inception in 1996, more than 300 photographers have shown in PRC juried exhibitions. Each year, a respected member of the photographic community is asked to select between 10 to 15 artists for exhibition. The juror then selects between 2 and 4 pieces per person, offering artists the opportunity to showcase a series at a deeper level than most juried shows.

The 2020 juror is Makeda Best, Richard L. Menschel Curator of Photography at Harvard Art Museums. The exhibition will be held at Worcester State University's Mary Cosgrove Dolphin Gallery, tentatively scheduled for July 8 − August 16, 2020. Entry fee is $30. Photographers may submit up to 6 images from a cohesive, exhibition-ready body of work, along with checklist information, artist statement, and resume. Applicants must be current members of the Photographic Resource Center through July 31, 2020. PRC Board members are not eligible to apply.

Selected artists are responsible for packing and arranging delivery and retrieval to the exhibition space, and are responsible for any shipping costs and transit insurance. Artists must be available to provide help with unique installations and supply any special hardware or specific instructions if required. The PRC requests 30% commission from any work sold during the exhibition. Selected and non-selected artists will be notified via email by June 1st.
