About This Call
2nd Biennial Regional Juried Exhibition at the Brandenburg Art Gallery on the campus of Olivet Nazarene University. The goal of this exhibition is to showcase midwestern artists residing in Illinois and its surrounding states. Open to any subject.
Eligibility: Any upcoming or established artists residing in Illinois, Indiana, Wisconsin, Iowa, Missouri or Kentucky may submit 1-2 two-dimensional or three-dimensional works of art created within the last 3 years. 2D work should not exceed 4'x 6'. 3D works that do not require a pedestal should be no larger than 3' width, 5' in length or height. 3D works that require a pedestal should be no larger than 12" width, 12" length, and 24" height. Eligible media include paintings, drawings, ceramics, sculpture and digital media. The gallery is equipped with a track and wire hanging system; work should be wired (no sawtooth). Include detailed information with each image including title, medium, dimensions, date completed, and a brief description (1-3 sentences) of the work.
Entry fee: $30 for up to 2 entries. Entry deadline: July 15, 2016. Notifications sent by August 1st. Drop-off dates: September 30th, October 1st and 2nd from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. All shipped work must be received by September 30th. Exhibition dates: October 5th through November 4th, 2016. Opening Reception and Awards Ceremony: Friday, October 14th, 2016, 6-8pm. Exhibited works must be picked up by November 5th, 6th, 7th from 11:00 a.m. - 1:00 p.m. Shipped artwork must have return postage label and will be shipped back within two weeks after the exhibition. Awards: First $300, Second $150, Third $75. Juror: Joanne Aono.
