About This Call
Exhibizone Grand Prize 2024 invites visual artists working in any medium worldwide to submit original artworks for an international online group exhibition. There are no thematic restrictions; artists can explore any subject matter that resonates with them.
The competition offers CAD 2,000 in cash prizes and additional awards. Cash grants of CAD 1,000 are divided among three artists: First Place CAD 500, Second Place CAD 300, and Third Place CAD 200. A Public Choice Award provides CAD 1,000 distributed as CAD 100 each to 10 artists ranking in the top 10. Selected artworks will be exhibited online from October 9 to December 9, 2024, and published in a stylish exhibition catalogue. Additional benefits include promotion on ARTSY (the largest global community of art collectors), digital certificates, lifelong artist profile pages, exhibition posters, promotional badges, visitor comments and ratings, exhibition analytics and sales statistics, and potential publication in magazines and books through the Biafarin publication network.
Submission is free. Artists can submit up to 10 artworks, with a maximum of 2 selected per artist. If selected, artists pay a fixed selection fee of USD 50 (USD 39 early bird). Eligible artworks include painting, drawing, illustration, printmaking, photography, digital arts, fiber art, textile arts, sculpture, installations, and mixed media. Artworks must be original works entirely executed by the artist, with no size or creation year limits (though artworks created within the last 5 years are preferred). Artists must own all rights for promoting, publishing, and selling their work. A money-back guarantee is available for selection fee payments until the exhibition's official opening day.
