Evolving

NEXT Gallery, an artist-owned and operated gallery, is seeking artwork that reflects the myriad of ways we observe or experience evolution. This national juried exhibition is open to artwork in all mediums. The theme encompasses species, relationships, self, culture, society, technology, place, ecosystem, or ideas—all things continuously evolving. Submissions will be juried by NEXT artists Terra Marks and Christy L. Seving.

The entry deadline is January 10, 2022 at 11:59 p.m. MST. The $35 entry fee covers up to 3 art pieces/images and must be paid by credit card through callforentry.org. Fees are non-refundable and do not guarantee acceptance. Results will be emailed the week of January 10, 2022. Accepted work will be exhibited from January 28 - February 13, 2022.

All artwork must be original in concept and not copied from another artist's work. No installations or artwork requiring intensive assembly or special technical installation will be accepted. Maximum dimensions are 5' x 5' for 2D works and 5' x 3' x 3' for sculptures (dimensions include framing and mounting). For mailed entries, maximum size must not exceed 38" in any direction. All works must be original, completed, professional quality, and ready to hang. Artwork must be for sale to be accepted. Any artwork sold will incur a 30% commission. Accepted artwork must be received by January 24, 2022. Unsold artwork must be picked up by February 14, 2022. Mailed artwork will be returned the week of February 13, 2022.
