Everything You Love

Kansas City Stockyards Gallery invites artists to submit original work for a juried exhibition celebrating love and all that it encompasses. Whether chocolate cake, your favorite hiking spot, or your soul mate, artists are encouraged to capture their subject in their choice of artistic medium.

Entry fee is $15.00, with an additional $5.00 media fee for each image beyond the first. Submit 1-10 images of original work (photography excluded). 2D artwork must be wired and ready to hang. The application deadline is January 31, 2021, and artists will be notified of acceptance by February 3, 2021. The exhibition runs February 19 through March 13, 2021.

Artists whose work is accepted can drop off work on Friday, February 12 (1-5 pm) or Saturday, February 13 (11 am-3 pm). Shipped work must arrive by February 12. A $100 Best In Show award will be presented at the reception on February 19 (5-8 pm), which is free and open to the public. The gallery is located in the historic Livestock Exchange Building. Gallery takes a 40% commission from sold work, with payment within 30 days of the show closing. Artists are responsible for all shipping costs and return shipping labels. Artwork not picked up by March 13 or shipped artwork without a return shipping label becomes property of the gallery.
