Every Color Has a Story - A Virtual Show

The Flagler County Art League (FCAL), a non-profit art association located in Palm Coast, Florida, invites submissions of up to four entries to "Every Color Has a Story," a juried virtual exhibition. The show explores the connection between color and emotion, inviting artists to use color to express feelings and create mood-evoking work. Both 2D and 3D entries are accepted. The virtual gallery will display digital images only; original physical artwork remains in the artist's possession.

Registration deadline is November 30, 2020. Entry fee is $20 per piece (up to 4 pieces per artist). Shows are open to all artists and photographers regardless of geographic location. Entries must be original work created and conceived by the artist, not created in a class or workshop, and produced within 3 years of the show date. Entries must not have been entered in any previous FCAL judged show. Monetary awards are given for Best of Show, 1st, 2nd, and 3rd Place, with certificates awarded to additional winners. All sale proceeds go directly to the artist; FCAL waives any commission percentage.

Digital images must be cropped to the artwork edges with no mat, frame, or background objects. The longest side should be 1500-2500 pixels, with a maximum file size of 5.0 MB, saved as JPEG format. File names should follow the format: ArtistLastName_FirstName_Title.jpg. The exhibition runs from December 12, 2020 through January 31, 2021. For questions, contact [email protected].
