About This Call
The 12th Annual Evanston Art and Big Fork Festival is held on the closed streets of downtown Evanston, Illinois, a city of 75,000 people just north of Chicago and home to Northwestern University. Evanston supports its festivals with enthusiasm and purchasing power! Admission is free to the public. Art Festival hours are 11am-6pm on Saturday and 10am-5pm on Sunday. Art is in all price points, so that everyone from college students to long time collectors can find something right for them. Art includes classic categories such as paintings, sculpture, photography, as well as fun usable art such as unique handmade jewelry, one-of-a kind furniture and home accessories, mixed media work, glass, wood, wearable art, art made from recycled materials and much more!
Artists keep all their sales income from the show. Amdur Productions staff is present on site throughout the entire festival to assist artists from load in to load out. Artist load-in will be Saturday morning, with artists able to drive up to or very close to their booth space. Equipment rental including tents, tent weights, tables and chairs are available for rent. Overnight security is provided, and a large multi-layered marketing plan supports this show with digital advertisements, radio, posters, street banners, social media, and direct mail postcards.
Space fees are $655 for 12' x 10' spaces and $1,310 for 20' x 10' spaces, with corner upgrades available for an additional $200. All artwork must be created, designed and made or made under the direct supervision of the accepted artist. White tents only are required, and all tables must be skirted to the ground. Artists must be present during all festival hours and may display only artwork in their accepted category.
