Eureka Springs National Photography Contest & Exhibit

The Ozarks Photography Project (TOPP) is an arts extension of the Greater Eureka Springs Chamber of Commerce. TOPP's National Juried Photography Contest offers professional judging by award-winning judges, with prizes up to $1,000, a Tamron 10mm 24mm VR Lens F3.2, and ribbons. The exhibition and sale will be held in historic Eureka Springs, AR, in conjunction with the annual Eureka Springs May Festival of the Arts.

Entries must be original work by the photographer in JPEG format, 1920 pixels along the longest edge, in sRGB color space, 90 PPI, with file size less than 5 megabytes. Submissions are limited to 3-9 images per person. Entry fee is $35 for the first three pieces and $10 for each additional entry. Work must be suitable for a general audience of all ages. Nine entry categories are available: Digitally Designed (open category for heavily post-processed images), People, Animals & Wildlife, Nature Created, Human Made, Still Life, Abstracts, In & Around Eureka Springs, and Black and White (open category).

Notification of acceptance/rejection will be sent April 20-25, 2018. The exhibition runs May 13-19, 2018 at Eureka Springs Auditorium, 36 S Main St., Eureka Springs, Arkansas. A wine and cheese reception is scheduled for Friday, May 18, and the awards ceremony for Saturday, May 19. Accepted work must be properly framed, wired, and ready to hang with a framed size limit of 4 feet on the longest side. Selected work may be sold with a 25% commission charged by the Greater Eureka Springs Chamber of Commerce. Shipping deadline is May 4, 2018. Work must be shipped in strong, reusable cartons with pre-paid return postage and paperwork included. Photo pickup is May 20, with return shipping May 20-24.
