Ethos Celebration of the Arts 2026

Discover Downtown Franklin hosts the Ethos Celebration of the Arts on June 27, 2026 from 10:00am-4:00pm in historic Downtown Franklin. This juried art fair showcases original fine art in both 2D and 3D categories from local and regional artists. Artists must be present during entire show hours and will be automatically included in day-of judging. The festival features live music and food/beverage vendors.

All work must be original and hand-made by the artist. Prohibited items include imported goods, commercially manufactured items, buy-and-sell items, and kit-made or pattern-made items. Once accepted, booth fees are $100 for a 10' x 10' space or $200 for a double 20' x 10' space, due by June 21, 2026. Artists retain 100% of sales proceeds and are responsible for collection and reporting of applicable sales taxes. Each artist must provide their own tent, tables, chairs, and display materials, and all booths must be weighted at corners.

Day-of judges will award $4,000 in total prizes including: Raymond F. Turner Best in Show ($1,000), 2D Art First Place ($500), 2D Art Second Place ($250), 3D Art First Place ($500), 3D Art Second Place ($250), Best Textiles ($500), Best Jewelry ($500), and Best Photography ($500). Set-up begins at 6:00am with assigned arrival times provided in advance; booths must be fully set up by 9:45am. Tear-down begins at 4:00pm and must be complete by 6:00pm. The event is rain or shine with no refunds based on weather.
