About This Call
The ESAC Outdoor Art Show takes place March 20-22, 2026 each day between 10am-5pm on the grounds of the Eastern Shore Art Center and the surrounding downtown area of Fairhope, Alabama. Now in its 54th year, the show features international and regional fine artists and craftspeople, attracting more than 350,000 visitors each spring. The show is within walking distance of Mobile Bay and many specialty shops and restaurants.
Artists must submit an application with a $45 non-refundable jury fee by November 1, 2025. If invited, artist booth fees are $375 for non-members or $350 for ESAC Artist Level Members. Food vendors pay a $45 jury fee and $300 booth fee if accepted. Applications must be confirmed by the December 12, 2025 purchase deadline or will be moved to the waitlist. Only original work in any medium is accepted, with 75% of displayed artwork required to be original.
Awards include the Isabel Jackson Best of Show ($2500), Bob Mullican Award ($1500), First Place awards ($500 each) in seven categories, Merit Awards ($300 each), and the Fairhope Arts & Crafts Festival Foundation Award ($200). Artist booths are 10' x 10' spaces located on Section Street between Oak and Magnolia, while food vendor booths are on Oak Street in front of the Art Center. Set up begins Thursday evening March 19, and exhibitors must remain until the show closes at 5pm Sunday.
