Equinox

SYNC Gallery is pleased to announce Equinox, a juried exhibition designed to give artists an opportunity to exhibit and sell their work in an elegant setting. This exhibition will be juried by Sandra Phillips, owner of the Sandra Phillips Art Gallery, and Tina Goodwin, owner of Goodwin Fine Art.

Eligibility: All artists aged 18 and over are eligible to enter. Only original works of art created within the last two years will be accepted. All work must be suitably framed or ready for installation. All media, styles and techniques are eligible. Artists submitting 2-D work may submit a maximum of three individual works; 2-D work must not weigh more than 30 pounds and must not exceed 36" in the horizontal dimension, including the frame. All 2-D work must be wired and ready to hang. Artists submitting 3-D work may submit a maximum of three individual works; 3-D work designed to be displayed on a pedestal must not exceed 16" in diameter, and work designed to be displayed on the floor must not exceed 30" in diameter and must weigh less than 50 pounds. All accepted artwork must be hand delivered to and picked up from SYNC Gallery.

Entry fee is $35 for up to three artworks. Entries will only be accepted through the CaFE online system with a deadline of January 24, 2016 at 11:59 p.m. MST. Submissions must include artist's contact information, title of each artwork with year completed, medium, dimensions and sale price, and an artist statement. Exhibition dates are February 18 – March 12, 2016. Opening reception is February 19, 2016 from 6:00 - 9:00 PM. Cash awards for Best in Show, 2nd Place, 3rd Place and Honorable Mentions will be determined by the jurors and given during the opening reception. SYNC Gallery will retain a 30% commission on art sales. Payment for sold artwork will be mailed on March 20, 2016.
