Environmental Challenges & Paradises - Online Photography Competition

Environmental Challenges & Paradises is an online photography competition open to photographers worldwide over 18 of all skill levels. The competition invites submissions focused on environmental challenges facing our planet, including climate change, pollution, biodiversity loss, and sustainable development, as well as images of beautiful parts of the world in equilibrium with life on earth.

Entries will be judged based on creativity, composition, relevance to the theme, and overall impact. Cash prizes will be awarded to the top three entries: First Place receives $300, Second Place receives $200, and Third Place receives $100. The first place winner will be offered a free exhibition in the gallery's FEATURED section. Winning photographs will be featured in an online exhibition, promoted across social media platforms, and edited into a 4 to 5 minute video posted on the gallery's YouTube channel. An exhibition catalogue will be available for purchase from a print-on-demand service.

Submission Deadline: July 6, 2024. Notification of Acceptance: July 15, 2024. Exhibition Dates: July 15 — September 15, 2024. Entry fee is $20 for 4 images and $4 for each additional image up to a total of 10 images. Submissions must be original photographs in jpg or jpeg format, at least 2000 pixels on the long side, with a brief description of the art and the environmental challenge it represents. Photographers experiencing financial hardship or living in a war zone should contact the gallery for a reduced entry fee. The gallery will not take commissions on any print sales resulting from the exhibition.
