ENERGY

ArtSpace Maynard invites artists to apply to a juried show with the theme ENERGY. The theme encompasses vitality, vigor, life, liveliness, animation, vivacity, spirit, spiritedness, fire, passion, ardor, zeal, verve, enthusiasm, zest, vibrancy, spark, sparkle, effervescence, exuberance, buoyancy, strength, stamina, forcefulness, power, and dynamism. All interpretations of this theme are welcome. The juror is Jessica Roscio, Curator at Danforth Art Museum at Framingham State University.

Artwork in all media except video will be considered. Artwork must have been completed within the past 5 years and must not exceed 40 inches in any direction. 2D work must be wired and ready for hanging. 3D work may use small pedestals supplied by the gallery, though all other special display equipment must be provided by the artist. Artwork must be delivered and picked up in person; shipped work cannot be accepted. ArtSpace retains a 30% commission on sold work and holds limited insurance on all exhibited artwork.

Entry fee is $35 for up to 3 images. Notification of acceptance will be sent December 16, 2019. Work delivery is January 10-11, 2020. The exhibition runs January 15 - February 21, 2020, with a reception on January 18, 5-7 p.m. Work pickup is February 22, 10 a.m. - 3 p.m.
