About This Call
This boutique Art & Craft show will feature a maximum of 50 artists allowing for less competition, less crossover booths and more potential opportunities to connect with shoppers. The event takes place during Venetian Festival which began as a candle lit boat parade and has grown into a week long festival. Located in the beautiful resort community of Charlevoix, Castle Farms offers the chance to explore acres of gardens, learn over a century of history, view entrancing collections, discover dragons near an enchanted forest, experience Michigan's largest outdoor model railroad, and taste wine from 1918 Cellars. This art & craft show will take place on the front lawns on Kings Courtyard during Venetian Fest with discounted Castle admission to just $5 from normal $20.
This is a 4 day, mid week event Monday through Thursday 10am to 5pm daily. The show is limited to 81 booths with early application savings of $50 - $399 if paid before February 10, $449 if paid after. Artists may apply in up to 2 categories. Event setup is Saturday morning 6:30am to 9am with easy load in and load out next to booth. All artist exhibitor tents must be white and displays must be professional and pleasing to the eye. Focus is on handmade & artist designed items but the jury will consider unique/creative gift ideas, authors, inventors and designers for holiday gift giving.
The artists are selected through a review of their work by a panel of experts. Blue Ribbon Events accepts artist-made work, production/studio work, craft work, inventor creations, designer work, and other innovative concepts. Categories are capped with no more than 25% jewelry. Vendor amenities include participating artists listed on Facebook event page, designated reserved unloading area, staff support on location throughout event, and marketing & advertising through social media ads, posters, rack cards, local tourism websites, local area signs and print ads. Application fee is $15 with 5 images required and a booth shot required.
