Emptiness - 2022 (Group Exhibition)

Emptiness invites artists working in any medium to share their artistic interpretation of "Emptiness" for an online group exhibition running December 15, 2022 to January 15, 2023. This is the second year of the exhibition, which has attracted 4,000,000+ visitors globally.

Selected artworks will be showcased in an online smart group exhibition and promoted for sales via the exhibition link. Three artists with the highest ratings during the exhibition will win US$300 cash prizes (USD 100 each), transferred via PayPal. All selected artworks and artists will be published in a stylish colorful exhibition catalogue available in both online and print versions, and circulated internationally to art experts, galleries, curators, businesses and enthusiasts. Artists will receive a digital exhibition poster, promotional badges for social media, an artist profile page on the Biafarin platform, and a digital certificate. An insightful report containing visit statistics, reviews, artwork popularity, engagement rates, and sales data will be sent to each artist regularly during the exhibition.

Artists can submit up to 5 original artworks in any 2D or 3D medium, including painting, drawing, illustration, printmaking, photography, digital art, fiber art, sculpture, and mixed media. All styles and abstract or representational interpretations of the subject are welcome. There is no size limit, and artworks created within the last 5 years are preferred. Maximum 2 artworks per artist may be selected for exhibition. Artworks must be entirely the artist's original work, and the artist must own all rights for promoting, publishing, and selling the artworks internationally. Entries must not be copies or derivatives of other copyrighted works. Only the artwork should appear in submitted photos (no frames or extraneous backgrounds). Artworks including porn, violence, racial or religious hatred, or inappropriate/offensive content are not admissible. Submission is free; a USD 35 selection fee applies only to selected artists.
