About This Call
This mural exhibition seeks to highlight emphasis as a fundamental building block and principle of design. Artists are encouraged to submit 2D artworks in colorful or monochromatic compositions that explore the importance of emphasis.
Artists may submit digital art, high-quality scans, or photographs of artwork. Artworks must be horizontal and should have at least 300 DPI. Each submission consists of 1-3 pieces. Selected pieces will be printed on 4'x8' vinyl banners and displayed on the Alliance for the Arts campus for up to 6 months. There will be no physical reception for this exhibition.
Open to all artists working in the United States. Entry fee is $30.00, with an additional $5.00 per extra entry. Alliance for the Arts members may use code Member10 for $10 off the entry fee. Deadline: September 25, 2025. Jury dates: September 25 - October 20, 2025. For questions, contact Julio at [email protected].
