About This Call
Emotions - 2021 is a dual exhibition and publication opportunity organized by Gallerium, open to all visual artists worldwide. The call invites artists to submit original artworks that display human feelings and emotions. Selected artworks will be published in The Book of Arts: Emotions publication and showcased in an international online exhibition from January 15 to February 15, 2022.
Submission is free, with a USD 40 selection fee applying only to selected artists. Artists can submit up to 5 original artworks in any visual media, including painting, drawing, illustration, printmaking, photography, digital art, fiber art, sculpture, and mixed media. All styles and interpretations of the subject are welcome. Artworks must be entirely the work of the entrant and not copies or derivatives of other copyrighted work. Artists must have all rights for presenting and publishing artworks internationally. Artworks created within the last 5 years are preferred, though there is no limit on creation year. There is no size limit for submissions.
Selected artworks will be published in The Book of Arts: Emotions, with the online version available for free and high-quality print available through print-on-demand services. The publication will be distributed internationally to thousands of readers including experts, galleries, curators, and art enthusiasts. Selected artists will receive a digital exhibition poster, social media promotional badges, an artist profile page on the Biafarin platform, a digital certificate, exhibition analytics and insights, and an exhibition press release published in art media. All exhibition visitors can post comments and ratings on artworks online.
