Emerging Vision, a Juried Student Show

Emerging Vision is an open-themed juried photography competition for current undergraduate and graduate students. The Colorado Photographic Arts Center invites submissions from students majoring or concentrating in photography. All lens-based media are eligible, including images made by film or video camera, scanner, screen-capture, digital camera, and mobile photography. Entry is open to regional, national, and international artists, members and non-members of CPAC.

Applicants must submit 3-10 images and may include up to 3 videos. Entry fee is $10 for 3 images, with an early bird discount of $5 for 3 images (until October 1st); additional images are $3 each. Applicants must be currently enrolled at a post-secondary institution and not graduating before the end of the academic year 2016-2017. A copy of current student schedule or student ID must be uploaded with the entry. The exhibition juror is Samantha Johnston, Executive Director of CPAC.

Exhibition dates are December 2, 2016 - January 7, 2017, with an opening reception on Saturday, December 3, 2016 from 6-8pm. Application deadline is Friday, October 21st, 2016. Application notifications will be sent October 27, 2016. Work will be hung with magnets and does not need to be framed. Framed artwork must be received no later than Saturday, November 26th.
