About This Call

This bi-annual award is offered to emerging artists showing merit, skill, and innovation in their work. The recipient will receive a solo exhibition at Sienna Patti Contemporary and a published catalogue with an essay to accompany the exhibition. The recipient will also receive support for the exhibition in the form of technical and conceptual advisors. The 2015 jurors are Lauren Fensterstock, Michael Krichman, and Brett Littman.

Eligibility: Artists must have completed at least a four-year academic program, a master's degree, or equivalent within the past 10 years. Applicants must have residency in North America. All work submitted must have been made between 2013–2015. Applicants may not have had a solo commercial exhibition or be exclusively represented by a commercial entity.

Submission requirements: Entry fee is $25. Submit 8–10 images of different artworks (at least 7 images of different artworks and one detail), with the option to add up to 3 additional artworks or details (12 images maximum). You may also submit up to 1 audio file and 1 video file. Required documents include current curriculum vitae, artist statement about work submitted, and prospectus for solo exhibition. Exhibition dates: October 1–November 17, 2015.
