About This Call
Gallerium presents Elysium - 24, a dual exhibition and publication inviting artistic interpretations of Elysium as a state of great happiness, utopia, paradise, and boundless serenity. The theme can be interpreted through various approaches, both real and imaginary, including environmental sustainability, social harmony, technological advancement, and personal aspirations. Submissions are welcome in all 2D and 3D art media, abstract or representational, including but not limited to: landscapes capturing tranquil vistas and architectural wonders; figures depicting joy and serenity; harmony in diversity showcasing cultural coalescence; technological marvels; personal utopias; and eco-paradises demonstrating environmental sustainability.
Submission is free of charge. If selected, a USD 40 selection fee applies. Artists can submit up to 6 artworks, with a maximum of 2 artworks accepted per artist. Work samples must include 1-5 images. Artworks must be original works created by the entrant without instructor supervision and must not be copies or derivatives of copyrighted work. Artists must retain all rights for international presentation and publication. Artworks created within the last 5 years are preferred, with no size limits. The opportunity is open to all visual artists worldwide.
Selected artworks will be exhibited in an online group exhibition from May 5 to July 5, 2024, and published in The Book of Arts: Elysium publication. The online book version is free; high-quality print editions can be ordered. Selected artworks will be promoted for sales via the online exhibition, included in an exhibition catalogue, and may be selected for publication in art magazines. All selected artists receive a digital certificate, online profile page on the Biafarin platform, exhibition poster link, promotional badges, and regular reports with visitor analytics and engagement statistics. A money-back guarantee is available for selection fees until the exhibition's official opening day.
