Elevate

Webster Arts invites art submissions for "Elevate," a juried visual art exhibition that focuses on art that inspires, uplifts and elevates us. Open to all artists aged 18 or older residing in the US or abroad. Juror Cbabi Bayoc will select pieces for this virtual exhibition. All media accepted with the exception of video.

Exhibition dates are March 16 – April 30, 2021. The exhibition will consist of two- and three-dimensional work. Accepted work cannot be substituted. No floor or ceiling installed work. All work must be the original conception and execution of the artist listed on the application. Do not submit work that has been exhibited in any Webster Arts gallery in the past, including Paint Webster. Submit up to 10 JPEG digital images (1000 to 1920 pixels on the longest side, 72 ppi/dpi resolution, 5 MB maximum file size).

Entry fee: $15 for up to two entries, $5 for each additional entry up to a total of 10 images. Entry fees are non-refundable. An independent juror will select work for inclusion in the exhibit and for cash prizes. Artists may be selected for solo or 2-3 person shows in the future. Webster Arts receives a 30% commission on all exhibition sales. Sales are encouraged. Artist talks are planned via YouTube and Facebook Live, and every artwork selected for the exhibit will be featured on social media. A virtual opening reception is planned. Submission deadline: February 21, 2021. All artists will be notified by email by March 1, 2021. Virtual Zoom reception: March 16, 2021.
