About This Call

Exhibizone presents Elements – 2023, a juried international online group exhibition exploring the essential elements of life. The exhibition invites artists to demonstrate fresh perspectives and innovative approaches to the classical elements of air, water, fire, and earth, as well as a fifth element of the artist's choosing.

Air can showcase the power of wind and movement through depictions of sky, wind effects, or objects like leaves and feathers. Water explores its versatility and symbolism, from serene waterscapes to marine life, water conservation, and natural phenomena. Fire represents both creation and destruction, serving as metaphor for change and transformation through symbols like flames, smoke, and bright dynamic forms. Earth emphasizes solidity and groundedness through texture, weight, and color of natural materials, or conceptually through representations of natural life and disasters. The fifth element invites extraordinary artistic expression by combining elements or presenting something entirely unique. All abstract and representational art in any medium is welcome.

Selected artworks will be showcased in an online exhibition from September 10 to November 10, 2023. Benefits include promotion for artwork sales, publication in an online exhibition catalogue, digital exhibition poster and promotional badges, visitor reviews and ratings, exhibition promotion through press releases and social media, analytics reports, and a digital certificate. Ten artists will be selected for publication in Artistonish and Observica magazines, and each artist receives a free online profile page on the Biafarin platform.

Submission is free. If selected, a USD 35 selection fee applies. Artists may submit up to 6 artworks, with a maximum of 2 accepted per artist. All selection fees are backed by a money-back guarantee until the exhibition opening. Artworks must be original, created by the entrant without instructor supervision, and not copies or derivatives of copyrighted work. Artists must retain all rights for international presentation and publication. Artworks created within the last 5 years are preferred, though there is no creation year limit. No size restrictions apply. Artwork photos should show only the artwork without frames or extraneous backgrounds.
