ELEMENTS

ELEMENTS is an online exhibition celebrating Earth, Air, Fire, and Water. The call invites artists to reflect on the elements in all their forms and their relationship to the fragile ecosystem of our planet. The exhibition is open to artists worldwide, both amateur and professional, working in all fine art mediums including oil, acrylic, watermedia, pastel, drawing, printmaking, mixed media, photography, sculpture, fiber, wood, and digital art. Film and video are not eligible. Work that has been previously selected for Art Fluent exhibits or work copied or done under instructor guidance is not eligible.

Submissions must include 1-20 JPEG images at 1,200 pixels or greater on the longest side, with a maximum file size of 5 MB. Entry fee is $25 for the first entry and $10 for each additional entry (up to 20 total). For 3D work, additional detail shots may be submitted by email at no additional charge. JPEGs are due by March 18, 2022. Notification of acceptance and online gallery opening will occur on April 15, 2022.

All accepted pieces will be displayed in the online gallery at www.art-fluent.com. Awards include Best of Show ($750) and two Director's Choice awards ($250 each). The exhibition is curated and juried by Creative Director Amy Matteson Neill along with an anonymous committee of jurors. Artists receive 100% of sales. A portion of entry fee proceeds is donated to organizations supporting the arts and artists. Cash awards over $600 are subject to federal income tax withholding; winners must submit a W-9 form.
