About This Call
The Edwardsville Art Fair is an annual 3-day outdoor juried arts celebration presenting the work of approximately 85-100 talented local, regional, national, and international artists. The fair features local performing arts, live art demonstrations, a children's art gallery, and food and drink vendors. Located in historic City Park in Edwardsville, Illinois, 25 minutes from St. Louis, Missouri, the fair draws 10,000-12,000 visitors from around the region. The event is open and free to the public. Hosted by the Edwardsville Arts Center and local sponsors, the fair is known for its top-notch hospitality, excellent sales, and gorgeous location. Proceeds from the fair directly support the Edwardsville Arts Center's programming.
Applications are open to Fine Artists and Fine Craftspersons representing original works in categories including Ceramics, Photography, Digital Artworks, and Works on Paper. The application fee is $30 (non-refundable). Applicants must submit 5 images (including a required booth shot), with 4 product images labeled with medium, dimensions, and price, plus an artist statement including technical process. The jury is composed of three art professionals who will review submissions in-person or virtually without knowledge of the artist's name. Applications close April 30, 2026 at 11:59 pm CST. Applicants will be notified of acceptance or rejection via email by May 15, 2026.
Accepted artists pay a booth fee of $350 (discounted to $300 if received by May 30, 2026). Final booth fees are due by July 15, 2026; a $50 late fee applies to payments received after this deadline. The fair runs September 25-27, 2026. Artist amenities include $8,000 in awards, complimentary meals for one artist per booth, individual electricity, free parking, overnight security, booth sitters, and indoor bathrooms. An Emerging Artist Program is available for artists who have never exhibited in an art fair; emerging artists are exempt from booth fees but must pay the $30 application fee and are not eligible for complimentary meals.
