Edwards Place Fine Art Fair - 37th Annual 2025

In its 37th year, the Edwards Place Fine Art Fair offers a park-like setting for a dedicated following to shop the wares of artists from around the region and across the country. On the campus of the Springfield Art Association, the fair includes up to 80 artist's booths, interactive art activities for all ages, artist demonstrations, live and DJ music, food vendors, tours of Edwards Place historic house museum, and a used book sale. The fair is always held the third full weekend in September, 10 AM to 5PM on Saturday and 11AM to 4 PM on Sunday. A reception for the artists along with an awards ceremony is held on Saturday evening from 5:30 to 7PM.

The fair invites artists who work in a broad range of Fine Art and Craft media including 2D (painting in watercolor, oil, acrylic, drawing, pastel, printmaking, collage, calligraphy, mixed media, and paper arts), Ceramic, Fiber, Glass, Jewelry, Photography, and Other categories (book arts, basketry, metal, leather, wood). First Place and Honorable Mention awards are given in each media category plus Best of Show and Best Newcomer. The Springfield Art Association provides artists with complimentary breakfast and lunch on Saturday, lunch on Sunday, and the Artist's Award reception Saturday evening. Overnight security is provided both Friday and Saturday nights, and booth sitters are available throughout the fair.

Booth fees are Single Booth (11' x 12') $250, End/Corner Booth (11' x 12') $300, Double Booth (22' x 12') $450. Artists must furnish their own tents, displays, and equipment. Electricity is not available and generators are not permitted. Registration and booth set-up begins on Friday at 1 PM. 95% of booth fees can be refunded until June 1, 2025. All award winners from the 2024 fair will be given a coupon code that waives the jury fee.
