About This Call
The Edmonds Arts Festival Small Works Marketplace features miniatures, small paintings, and small artisan works. This is a juried show where buyers can take their purchases immediately upon payment rather than waiting until the end of the festival. The gallery is popular with festival attendees and sales are robust.
Miniatures must be paintings in traditional mediums (oil, acrylic, tempera, pastel, airbrush, gouache, watercolor, mixed media 2D, or drawing) up to 5"x5" unframed or 8"x6" framed. Small paintings range from 6"x6" to 12"x12" unframed in the same mediums. Small artisan works include fine arts crafts such as fiber arts, woodwork, ceramics, jewelry, glass, and beading, with maximum dimensions of 12"x12"x12" and prices not exceeding $300. All artwork must be professional in appearance, wired, and ready for hanging. Entry fee is $25 for one to four pieces. Digital images must be JPEG format, 1,200 pixels or greater on the longest side, and under 5MB.
The festival runs June 13-15, 2025 (Friday and Saturday 10 a.m. - 7 p.m., Sunday 10 a.m. - 5 p.m.). Drop-off of accepted work is June 7 at Frances Anderson Center (700 Main St., Edmonds, WA) from 12 p.m. - 6 p.m. Notification of acceptance is May 15-16 by email. More than $12,000 in cash awards will be presented, with 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place prizes in each category. Artists must be 16 or older, entries must be original work produced within the last five years, and work cannot have been previously shown at the Edmonds Arts Festival. A 35% commission is collected on all sales. This show is open to regional artists from Washington, Oregon, Montana, Idaho, and California only. A shipping option is available through Phoenix Art Restoration for a fee for artists unable to deliver in person.
