Edmonds Arts Festival Gallery Arts - Call 1

The Edmonds Arts Festival Gallery Arts Call 1 invites artists to submit work in paintings, prints, drawings, mixed media 2D, photography, digital art, sculpture, and artisan works. The entry deadline is April 29, 2024 at 11:59 p.m. MDT. Notification of acceptance will be sent by email by May 13-17. The festival takes place June 14-16, 2024 at Frances Anderson Center (700 Main St., Edmonds, WA).

Entry fee is $22.00 per piece, with artists able to enter up to six pieces total across all categories. Artists must submit 1-6 digital images (JPEG format, 1,200 pixels minimum on longest side, under 5MB). Finished artwork must be between 12"x12" and 40"x48" for 2D work and not exceed 80"x30"x30" for three-dimensional work. All artwork must be wired for hanging (sawtooth hangers not accepted). Textile entries must not exceed 2,600 square inches. No AI-generated art is acceptable.

Artists must be 16 years or older. All entries must be original work produced within the last five years, entirely the work of the artist, and for sale. Work cannot be copies, derivatives, reproductions, or giclées, and cannot be based on copyrighted or previously published materials. Work must not have been previously shown at the Edmonds Arts Festival. A 35% commission will be collected on all sales. More than $10,000 in cash awards will be presented at the Gallery Arts Awards Reception. Artwork not sold during the festival must be picked up June 16 (5:15 p.m. - 7:00 p.m.) or June 17 (11:00 a.m. - 1:00 p.m.). A shipping option is available through Phoenix Art Restoration for a fee.
