About This Call
Now in its 69th year, the Edmonds Arts Festival has grown from a small community art fair to one of the most prestigious in the Pacific Northwest, attracting artists from across the nation and Canada. The Festival provides a unique opportunity for patrons to meet the artists and purchase their work in a beautiful outdoor setting overlooking Puget Sound and the Olympic Mountains. In addition, the Festival offers free live entertainment, a juried gallery exhibition, a nationally recognized juried student art exhibit, a hands-on children's art activity area, and a wonderful selection of fair food. In 2025, EAF showcased more than 160 artists' booths located on the grassy field east of the Frances Anderson Center, returning on Father's Day Weekend in 2026.
The Festival accepts work in categories including ceramics, drawing/pastels, fiber, garden art/metal, glass, jewelry, mixed media 2D and 3D, painting, photography/digital, printmaking, sculpture, traditional crafts, wearables/leather, and wood. All artworks must be original and handcrafted by the artist, with accepted artists required to be present the entire weekend. The application requires five images including four of artwork and one booth shot, which is weighted evenly with artwork images in the jury process. Application deadline is January 23, 2026, with jury notification on March 1, 2026.
Artist amenities include light snacks during festival hours, inside hospitality area and break room, free parking and artist shuttle to Festival grounds, free overnight dry camping, booth sitters, overnight security, and booth awards totaling $1,500. Booth award winners receive an artist invitation to the 2027 Festival and inclusion of one image with artist's name and website link on the Edmonds Arts Festival website. The Festival supports artists through extensive advertising campaigns including print, TV, radio, and online coverage, maintaining social media accounts and a website with a catalog page featuring each artist's work.
