Arts Longmont Gallery hosts EcoCreations 8, an exhibition featuring artists who work with recycled materials and found objects. The exhibition runs July 14 – August 26, 2017, with an opening reception on Friday, July 14, 6-9pm and a 2nd Friday Reception on August 11, 2017. Cash awards for creativity in repurposing materials will be announced at the opening reception.

Artists may submit up to 3 pieces with up to 6 images permitted to show close-up detail. Entry fee is $35 (non-refundable). At least 90% of each artwork must be made from recycled materials or found objects. Work will be juried by digital images, with awards judged once art is received. All entries must include dimensions, price, and a complete list of materials used including adhesives. Images must be cropped, excluding framing and background, and must represent the work exactly. All art must be display-ready; if assembly is required, the artist must assemble it or provide detailed instructions and photos. Installation pieces are accepted but must be installed by the artist.

Art must be received by Arts Longmont Gallery between July 3-7, 2017. Artists are responsible for delivering or shipping art to and from the gallery; if shipping, a pre-paid return shipping label must be included. Art can be picked up or returned shipped the week of August 28, 2017. Arts Longmont Gallery retains a 40% commission on sales.
