Earth First

The Floyd Center for the Arts invites artists throughout the United States to submit work for Earth First, a national juried exhibition exploring themes of Earth stewardship and sustainability. The exhibition aims to highlight the delicate balance between human existence and the natural world as seen through environmental consciousness. Artists exploring themes of sustainability, connection with nature, upcycling media, coordination and relationships between species, climate dialogue, and more through various media are encouraged to apply.

Accepted works will be exhibited in the Hayloft Gallery at Floyd Center for the Arts from Saturday, April 20, through Saturday, June 1, 2024. All media will be considered for jurying. First, second, and third place awards will be granted, as well as a "People's Choice" award. Artists are responsible for shipping or delivering work to FCA and for any return shipping. There will be no substitutions allowed.

To participate, submit a nonrefundable application fee of $25. Artists may submit up to five (5) digital images representing their work. Video entries cannot be accepted. Applications are open beginning January 31, 2024, with a deadline of March 20, 2024 at 11:59 p.m. MDT. Artists will be notified of acceptance by March 26, 2024.
