EAFA 2014 Juried Members Show

The Evergreen Association of Fine Arts (EAFA) invites current dues-paying members to submit work for the 2014 Juried Members Show. The show will be held at EAFA Gallery in the Seattle Design Center, 5701 Sixth Avenue South, Suite P292, Seattle, WA 98108, from May 5 to June 27, 2014.

Eligible artists may submit up to three pieces of 2-D artwork. All artwork must be at least 8 inches x 8 inches (not including frame), with outer dimensions not exceeding 7 feet in either direction (including frame). Entry fees are $30 for one artwork, $35 for two pieces, and $40 for three pieces. Images must be submitted in JPEG format at 72 pixels per inch with a minimum of 1920 pixels on the longest side. Online entries open March 3, 2014, with a deadline of March 30, 2014 at 11:00 p.m. PST. Artists will be notified by email on April 11, 2014. Accepted artwork must be delivered on May 3, 2014 between 9-11 a.m. The show features over $1,200 in awards, including First Place ($500), Second Place ($400), and Third Place ($300), plus additional awards. The juror is Mareth Curtis Warren, a Seattle-based watercolor artist. A reception and awards ceremony will be held on May 15, 2014 from 5-9 p.m., with awards presented at 6:30 p.m. Artwork pickup is scheduled for June 28, 2014 from 9-11 a.m.
