EAA Fall 2016 All Colorado Art Show

The Evergreen Artists Association presents the EAA Fall 2016 All Colorado Art Show, hosted by Main Street Fine Art Gallery in Evergreen, Colorado. The exhibition runs September 30 – October 23, 2016, with an opening reception on Friday, September 30 from 5–8 p.m. The entry deadline is Saturday, September 3, 2016 at 11:59 p.m. MDT.

Artists must submit 3 images for a $35 entry fee, with an additional $5 per image for up to 3 more images (maximum 6 total). The show is open to any artist residing in Colorado. Submissions must be original work created within the last 3 years and not previously shown in an EAA exhibit. All entries must be for sale. Two and three-dimensional art is accepted, including painting, photography, sculpture, ceramics, jewelry, woodwork, fiber/textile, mixed media, printmaking, glass, and metalsmith. Giclée and other unoriginal prints are not permitted (except photographs), and computer-generated art is not accepted. 2D wall artwork is limited to a maximum of 30 inches and 40 inches in either direction, totaling 1200 square inches including the frame.

Artists will be notified of acceptance by Wednesday, September 7, 2016. Hand-delivered work must be brought to the gallery on Sunday, September 25 (3:30–5:30 p.m.) or Monday, September 26 (11 a.m.–4 p.m.). Shipped work must be received by Monday, September 26 via FedEx or UPS only. Awards totaling over $1,100 will be presented during the opening reception, including Best of Show ($500), 2D Award of Excellence ($200), 3D Award of Excellence ($200), and Photography Award of Excellence ($200). The juror is Gene Youngmann. Commission to artists is 65%, with EAA retaining 35% of sales. Payment to artists will be made within 35 days after the close of the show. All unsold work must be picked up on Sunday, October 23 after 4 p.m. or Monday, October 24 between 10 a.m. and 4 p.m.
