Dynamic: d'Art Center's 2nd Annual Juried National Contemporary Arts Exhibition

Dynamic is d'Art Center's 2nd Annual Juried National Contemporary Arts Exhibition, held during Norfolk's NEON Festival. This exhibition features artworks produced within the last two years (August 2020 - August 2022) and is open to all functional and non-functional work in 2D, 3D, fine art, and fine craft in all mediums and styles. The exhibition is juried and co-curated by d'Art Center Gallery Manager and Curator Amanda Bradley and artist, gallery owner, and exhibition juror Ukwensi Chappell.

The exhibition runs from Saturday, October 15, 2022 through Saturday, November 19, 2022 at d'Art Center's Main Gallery, located at 740 Boush St. in Norfolk, Virginia's NEON Arts District. The reception is Friday, October 21, 2022, 5-9pm. Awards include 1st Place ($500), 2nd Place ($300), and 3rd Place ($150). The gallery commission on sales is 60/40 (60% artist, 40% d'Art Center).

Entry fee is $35 for 3 works (one image per submission) with an additional $5 for each submission beyond 3 (maximum 10 submissions). Artists must submit 3-10 images. Eligibility is open to all artists 18 or older residing in the United States; all work must be original and created without instructor or kit assistance. Work cannot exceed 50 pounds or 60 inches in its longest dimension. All work must be hang/presentation ready. Accepted works must arrive by 5pm Saturday, October 8, 2022. Notifications will be sent by email by 5pm Monday, September 26, 2022. Artists are responsible for shipping costs and must provide pre-paid return labels through UPS or FedEx. Hand-delivered works are accepted by pre-arrangement.
