Durango Arts Center: 2014 TOP Jewels National Jewelry Design Exhibition

This competition is open to all jewelry artists residing in the United States. Works must be original, recently fabricated, and not have been shown previously at the Durango Arts Center (DAC). All works must be for sale. Submitted pieces must be wearable jewelry including neckware, pins, bracelets, earrings, rings, and buckles.

Entry fee is $30 for a minimum of 3 images/entries, with additional entries at $10 each (maximum 5 images/entries). If submitting just one entry, 3 images of that entry are required. Images should be of the actual work entered; however, if a selected piece is no longer available at the time of the exhibition, a comparable piece may be substituted. Prizes are awarded from the actual pieces in the exhibition. Professional photos are encouraged. Entry deadline is April 11, 2014.

Awards totaling $5,000 are awarded to artists that excel in jewelry design among the entries submitted and selected. The Durango Arts Center retains a 50% commission on all artwork sold during the exhibition. Works should be priced accordingly, and prices of accepted works may not be changed after submission. Jurors of Selection are Jeff & Susan Wise. Allison Buchsbaum Barnett, co-owner of Patina Gallery in Santa Fe, NM, is the Juror of Awards. Master workshops, classes, lectures, and gallery tours will be offered during the exhibition.
