About This Call
With an emphasis on the visual arts and family fun, this two-day event is presented by the Atlanta Foundation for Public Spaces for people of all ages, races, customs, and interests. Considered to be one of the most vibrant and one of the fastest-growing communities in the north Atlanta region, Duluth is home to one of the largest and most enthusiastic art-buying communities in metro Atlanta. The festival features up to 125 painters, photographers, sculptors, leather and metalwork artists, glass blowers, jewelers, and crafters, with artist demonstrations, live acoustic music, a children's play area, plus festival foods and beverages with healthy alternatives.
The festival takes place May 16-17, 2026, with Saturday hours 10am-5pm and Sunday 11am-5pm. The application fee is $30, with 5 images required and a booth shot required. Applications are accepted starting September 25, 2025, with an application deadline of April 7, 2026. Artists must accept invitations and purchase by May 8, 2026. Load-in is Friday, May 15, 2026 from 12:00pm-6:00pm. The event is limited to 100 participating artists.
Accepted categories include 2-D Mixed Media, 3-D Mixed Media, Ceramics, Digital Art, Drawing & Printmaking, Fiber, Glass, Handicraft, Jewelry, Metal, Painting, Photography, Sculpture, and Wood & Furniture. All artwork must be original and handmade by the artist, with original art occupying at least 50% of the artist's space. Artists must be present with their work for the duration of the festival. This is an outdoor rain-or-shine event where artists must provide their own tent and display materials.
