Drink Me: cups, mugs, and tumblers

Drink Me is a juried exhibition showcasing the possibilities in drinking vessels. The exhibition runs February 15 – March 11, 2016 at Mariani Gallery, Guggenheim Hall on the UNC Campus in Greeley, Colorado. Juror Sebastian Moh will select work based on digital submissions. Designated awards for select artworks up to $750 will be announced at the Artists' Reception on February 17.

Eligibility is open to national artists at least 18 years of age. Submit up to four digital images (one per artwork) of functional ceramic drinking vessels completed within the past two years. Work must be innovative and original in design, made entirely of ceramic materials with exceptions limited to handles, knobs, or accents made of cane, wood, wire, or similar materials. Images must be professional quality JPEG files at 300 DPI, 1920 x 1920 pixels. The nonrefundable entry fee is $25. Accepted work must be shipped to Mariani Gallery, University of Northern Colorado, Attn: Joan Shannon-Miller, 501 20th St, Greeley, CO 80639 by February 5, 2016. Artists are responsible for shipping costs to and from UNC and must include a pre-paid return shipping label.

All artwork entered must be for sale. UNC retains 30% commission of the sales price, and artists receive 70%. Sale proceeds will be paid within 30 days of the end of the exhibition. Unsold work will be returned to the artist within 30 days of the exhibit. A Gallery Guide of accepted works will be produced with provided photos and artist statements, with each artist receiving 10 copies. Designated awards will be paid to recipients within 30 days of the end of the exhibition. Artist notification begins January 19, 2016.
