About This Call

Dressing the Narrative is a three-part workshop series led by Creative Director and Stylist Chad Jamil Hudson, exploring how style, storytelling, and visual identity can be shaped into strategic campaigns that support creative growth and professional opportunities.

Designed for emerging stylists, photographers, creative directors, and visual artists, this immersive workshop will guide participants in developing concept-driven work, curating fashion looks aligned with brand identity, creating professional pitch decks, and leading creative direction with clarity and confidence.

One artist will be awarded a full scholarship to attend the complete workshop series in Indianapolis, Indiana. The recipient will be selected based on the strength of their portfolio, statement of interest, and demonstrated commitment to developing their creative practice. Workshop dates are April 25, April 26, and May 2, 2026. Application deadline is March 27, 2026, with notification by April 10, 2026.

To apply, email the following materials to [email protected] with the subject line "Dressing the Narrative Scholarship 2026": Portfolio submission of up to five images or supporting materials (PDF, DOC, etc.) representing your work, with images at 2000 pixels on the longest side at 72 dpi; a statement of interest (maximum 150 words) outlining why you would like to participate and how it supports your creative practice; and a short biography (maximum 100 words) including your age, place of origin, current university if applicable, and your relationship to fashion and/or photography.
