Drawing Rooms Solo Project Space: Photography Exhibition

Drawing Rooms invites photographers to submit work for consideration in their Solo Project Space exhibition. The gallery is seeking an exciting and compelling cohesive body of work by one photographer on any theme or concept and of any size. All photographic styles are welcome—from documentary, still-life, portraits, architecture, street photography, and abstract themes to everything in between. Photographers should provide an Artist Statement (500 words or less) describing their intention and motivation behind the work. Photographers may submit another body of work as a separate application.

Photographers retain all rights, including copyright, to their photographs. Works must be original with no AI or reproductions. Media accepted includes photography, digital or traditional prints, unframed, framed, or mounted on any material. Works that are dropped off at Drawing Rooms can be any size; unframed works must be durable enough to be exhibited with clips. Submissions must include up to 15 JPG images with a minimum of 1,200 pixels on the shorter dimension. All works in the exhibit must be for sale with 60% to artists and 40% to Drawing Rooms. All works are insured when in the gallery's possession. Commissions from sales will be paid to the artist within 30 days of payment via check, PayPal, or cash.

The exhibition runs September 11 - October 5, 2025, with events including an opening reception on September 13, artist meet-and-greets on September 21, 28, and October 5, and a closing reception on October 5. Drop-off dates are August 28 and September 2, with mail-in submissions arriving by September 3. Pickup is October 5-6. Entry fee is $35. Artists must be over 18 years old. International submissions are eligible.
