Drawing Rooms Solo Project Space

Drawing Rooms invites submissions for a solo exhibition in their project space. The selected artist will present an exciting and compelling body of work in any painting media or style, of any size, on paper, canvas, wood, or similar surfaces. Works must be original; AI-generated work and reproductions are not accepted. Drawing Rooms will feature selected works from this exhibition for sale on Artsy.net.

The exhibition runs June 5-29, 2025, with an opening reception on Saturday, June 7, 2025. Meet the Artists events are scheduled for Sundays, June 15, 22, and 29 from 3-5 p.m. All works in the exhibition must be for sale, with 60% of proceeds going to the artist and 40% to Drawing Rooms. Sales commissions will be paid to artists within 30 days of payment receipt via check, PayPal, or cash. All works are insured while in Drawing Rooms' possession.

Submissions are due by May 2, 2025 at 11:59 p.m. MDT. Artists will be notified by May 7, 2025. Works should arrive the week of May 18, 2025 and will be picked up or returned the week of June 30, 2025. The entry fee is $30. Submissions should include up to 15 JPG images (minimum 1,200 pixels on the shorter dimension, maximum 3,000 pixels) and a one-page artist statement combining a 2-3 sentence bio and a statement of 200 words or less. Artists must be 18 years or older. Drawing Rooms is located at 926 Newark Ave, Jersey City, NJ 07306 (entrance on Newark Ave, near Journal Square PATH).
